OUR TESTIMONIALS
What our happy donors say !!
At It Takes a Village AMSA Edition, we’re honored to have the support of a diverse and passionate community committed to creating positive change. Here’s what some of our supporters, volunteers, donors, and community members have to say about their experiences with us:
Being a part of It Takes a Village AMSA Edition's Juneteenth celebrations for the past six years has been eye-opening. It's incredible to see the growth and impact of the event, especially in educating our community about Juneteenth. Ann Okwuwolu's dedication to creating representation and providing educational opportunities is truly inspiring
As a pillar in Seattle's community for decades, I always believed in the importance of celebrating Juneteenth. It warms my heart to see Ann Okwuwolu continuing the tradition and making strides to ensure Juneteenth is recognized and celebrated widely. She's carrying on the legacy with grace and determination.
The official recognition of Juneteenth as a holiday is a significant step towards acknowledging the struggles and triumphs of Black Americans. However, it's important to remember the true spirit of Juneteenth and support community-led events like those organized by Ann Okwuwolu. We must ensure that the recognition translates into meaningful support for grassroots initiatives
